Victoria’s Secret brought one of its most extravagant traditions back to the runway on October 18, and it chose Kylie Jenner to make the moment impossible to ignore. Making her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut in Los Angeles, Jenner walked in the revived Fantasy Bra, an extraordinary $50 million high-jewelry creation that instantly became the most valuable Fantasy Bra in the company’s history.
The appearance marked the first time the Fantasy Bra had been featured on the Victoria’s Secret runway since 2018. Long before social media turned every fashion show into a global, real-time spectacle, the Fantasy Bra served as one of Victoria’s Secret’s signature headline-making moments. The tradition dates back to 1996 and has previously included some of fashion’s most recognizable models, including Gisele Bündchen, Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel. Its return for 2026 therefore represented more than another runway look—it was a deliberate revival of one of the brand’s most recognizable pieces of fashion history.
For its comeback, Victoria’s Secret partnered with luxury jeweler Jacob & Co. to push the concept much further. The finished creation is valued at $50 million and incorporates 4,410 natural diamonds in seven different cuts. At its center sits an extraordinary 75.54-carat Fancy Vivid yellow diamond. According to Vogue, the piece weighs nearly four pounds and contains no conventional fabric, transforming the idea of lingerie into something closer to wearable high jewelry.
The craftsmanship is equally remarkable. Fifteen artisans reportedly contributed more than 1,000 hours of work to completing the piece. Its structure was engineered to conform to Jenner’s body while supporting thousands of diamonds and the dramatic central stone,
demonstrating the technical challenge behind something designed to appear effortless under runway lights.
Victoria’s Secret’s decision to place Jenner at the center of the Fantasy Bra’s return was also strategic. Chief Creative Officer Adam Selman described her influence as extending beyond any single category, reflecting the increasingly blurred boundaries between fashion, beauty, entertainment, entrepreneurship and digital celebrity. Jenner’s ability to command attention across all of those spaces made her an obvious vehicle for a moment intended to travel far beyond the runway.
The choice also created another milestone: Jenner became the first non-Victoria’s Secret Angel to model the Fantasy Bra, while simultaneously making her first appearance on the brand’s runway. Rather than simply returning to an old formula, Victoria’s Secret attached one of its most nostalgic symbols to a celebrity whose cultural influence was built largely during the social-media era.
Historically, the Fantasy Bra has always been about excess. Gisele Bündchen’s celebrated Red Hot Fantasy Bra from 2000 was valued at $15 million and for years remained one of the most famous examples of the concept. The new $50 million piece does not merely surpass that valuation, it more than triples it, transforming the 2026 edition into an entirely different level of luxury spectacle.
Jenner completed the runway look with white feathered wings, a sheer miniskirt and transparent heels, but the jewelry remained unmistakably at the center of the presentation. Against the scale and theatricality of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the diamonds functioned almost like their own lighting system.
There is also a larger brand story unfolding here. Victoria’s Secret has spent recent years attempting to rethink what its fashion show represents while simultaneously recognizing that nostalgia remains one of its strongest cultural assets. Reintroducing the Fantasy Bra allows the company to reconnect with the theatrical glamour that once made its runway an international event, but doing so through Kylie Jenner links that history to a modern audience built around influence, beauty culture and social media.
Whether the $50 million valuation inspires admiration, disbelief or debate may ultimately be part of the point. The Fantasy Bra was never designed to disappear quietly into a collection. It was created to generate fantasy in the most literal sense: something almost absurdly luxurious, technically extraordinary and completely removed from everyday fashion.
Eight years after its last runway appearance, that fantasy has returned. And with thousands of diamonds, a 75.54-carat yellow centerpiece and Kylie Jenner wearing it beneath the lights, Victoria’s Secret made certain no one would miss the comeback.
