The Latin GRAMMYs are preparing for another major night in Las Vegas, and the first wave of performers already signals just how wide the world of Latin music has become. The Latin Recording Academy has announced the first 14 artists scheduled to perform at the 27th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, bringing together global superstars, acclaimed songwriters, regional Mexican voices and some of the most compelling artists shaping Latin music today.
Roselyn Sánchez will return to lead the ceremony, marking her tenth appearance as host of the Latin GRAMMYs. The Puerto Rican actress, producer and performer has become one of the awards show’s most familiar faces, and her return places her once again at the center of one of Latin entertainment’s largest international stages.
The first performance lineup includes Daddy Yankee, Rosalía, Anitta, Juanes, Carín León, Mon Laferte, Jorge Drexler, Silvana Estrada, Kany García, Banda Los Recoditos, Vivir Quintana, Rawayana, Elena Rose and Xavi. It is a lineup that moves easily across generations and genres, from reggaeton and Brazilian pop to regional Mexican music, alternative sounds and singer-songwriter traditions.
Daddy Yankee’s participation is particularly significant. The Puerto Rican artist has been named the Latin Recording Academy’s 2026 Person of the Year, recognizing both his career and his role in helping transform reggaeton from a Caribbean movement into a worldwide cultural force. He will be honored at a special Person of the Year gala on November 11 before appearing as a performer during the Latin GRAMMY telecast the following night.
Several of the night’s performers will also arrive as major nominees. Rosalía is nominated in Album of the Year for LUX (Complete Works), while “La Perla,” featuring Yahritza y Su Esencia, competes for both Record and Song of the Year. Anitta’s EQUILIBRIVM is nominated for Album of the Year, while Mon Laferte, Jorge Drexler, Silvana Estrada, Carín León and Rawayana are among the other performers with projects competing in major categories.
The lineup also demonstrates just how expansive the Latin GRAMMY stage has become. Mexico is represented through artists including Carín León, Xavi, Banda Los Recoditos and Vivir Quintana, while Venezuela is represented by Rawayana and Elena Rose. Brazil, Spain, Chile, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and other parts of the Latin music world are represented across a ceremony increasingly defined by music that travels well beyond national borders.
The Latin Recording Academy has described this as only its first group of performers, meaning more names, collaborations and special moments are expected to be announced before the ceremony.
The 27th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will take place Thursday, November 12, 2026, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The three-hour ceremony will air live on Univision beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT and 7 p.m. Central, following a one-hour pre-show beginning at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
For an awards show built around the increasingly international reach of Latin music, the first announcement makes the message clear: this year’s Latin GRAMMYs will bring together legacy, reinvention and a new generation of artists on the same stage.
